Everyone voted, I tallied the results and about 90% of you said you wanted a post showing how I plan to style the wide leg corduroy pants for fall, so here it is 🙌🏻 Keep on reading for inspiration and as always leave me a comment or send me a DM in Instagram if you have any questions!
Let me first say, there hasn’t been a pant I’ve been more excited for than these beauties! I’m not quite sure why, but as soon as I saw them online I new I had to have them!! I was born an 80s girl but definitely LOVE the 70s style wholeheartedly!! Alright, now onto the fit of these! Wild Fable line is juniors sizing so keep that in mind when ordering. I was able to order these in my normal size 14 and they fit like a glove! They are high rise, wide legged, and zip up the back to get them on. They have pockets which is a major plus, and are soft!!! Oh, and under $30 too, bonus 🙌🏻
Next up, let’s style these gorgeous pants!
My first outfit seen below is great for work, a dinner date, or just out and about, it’s that great of an outfit, plus the colors exude fall! I am wearing the pants with a striped long sleeve ribbed sweater that is only $12 (similar here too). I simply tucked the striped top in and added a statement necklace! That’s it ladies! I am wearing open toe sandals but these booties would also make a great statement and are super affordable too, and also from Target 🙌🏻
Next look is definitely more casual and spunky (it’s a two for one with the cardigan)! You know I love my crop tops, so I decided to pair these pants with a lacy bralette as well as a leopard cami and chunky cardigan with black ankle boots! Both looks are fun and trendy but also very comfortable!! Both in the bralette and in the cami, I’m wearing the size Large.
Next I decided to wear the corduroy pants with a white button tank (also from the Wild Fable line and only $10), and this great sheer plaid duster (also worn with the bralette too)!! I am mad for Plaid (that’s another post coming soon), but plaid and fall go together like pb&j!! The duster is a size Large that I’m wearing, it’s a tad tight in my upper arms, but I have bigger arms to begin with, but not so tight that I won’t wear it! I asked my girls and they approved too 🙌🏻 I love the look of it for Fall, so it’s a keeper and looks great with the corduroy pants!
The next outfit involves another striped top, but this one is off the shoulder! It’s only $16, and just like the pants, I’m obsessed with it! It has a grommet detail and fits like a glove, I am again in the size Large. I simply tucked the top in and voila, instant outfit! No extra jewelry required since the top is already so fun! I kept the shoes simple again with the same sandals but these open toe booties are also great and everyone including me loves them! They keep selling out, so act fast if you want them!! (Oh and not to toot my own horn, but kudos to ME for rock jumping to the middle of this creek in HEELS for these fun photos and not falling in, I can’t say the same for my son 😂😂)!’
My next outfit is a gorgeous sheer top (also from Wild Fable), go figure! I’m in the size Large, the fit is true to size on this one. I love the shorter length of this sheer floral number and also love the versatility! I decided to keep it unbuttoned, but knotted it for a fun twist! I kept the lacy bralette underneath as well!
Ok, now I saved the best for last! I am INFATUATED with kimonos!! If you’ve been following me for any length of time, you know this about me! The one I’m wearing here is only $28 and good Lord, it’s amazing! I’m in the large and it fits perfectly! If you buy one outfit today, it should be the pants and this kimono!! You can thank me later!!
Well there ya have it, the 6 (plus a few bonus) ways I styled these corduroy pants and why you will want these in your closet too!! I hope you can see why I love these pants, and even as a curvy girl they still look chic! Don’t be afraid of wide leg pants gals!!
